Throttle Switch (Control Unit Activation Function)

  1. With engine at idle speed, pull off plug on idle switch. Engine speed should increase 500 RPM. Ignition timing advance should be 12 degrees BTDC.
  2. If nothing happens, check wire between idle switch plug and control unit plug for breaks according to wiring diagram. If necessary, replace control unit.
