Steering Column Assembly: Removal
- Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove blower, ducting and steering shaft cover. Remove "U" joint retaining bolt.
- From driver's compartment, remove knee strip, light switch and tachometer. Drill out shear bolts retaining ignition switch/steering lock.
- Lift off horn pad. Remove steering wheel. Detach wire connectors. Remove steering column switch assembly with steering shaft and tube.
