Fuel Accumulator

This device allows fuel system to remain pressurized for a short period of time after engine is shut off. It also acts as a pressure damper to absorb initial pressure surge at moment ignition is switched on. This unit consists of a container in fuel delivery line with a spring loaded plunger.
