Installation Procedure

  1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring (1) of the sensor.

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the camshaft position sensor with the bolt (2) and tighten to 9.0 N.m (80 lb in).
  3. Connect the camshaft position sensor connector (1).
  4. Install the air cleaner cap with hose.
  5. Inspect for engine oil leak.
  6. Install engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
