Removal Procedure

    NOTE: The wheel speed sensor is serviceable only as an assembly. Do NOT attempt to service the sensor harness pigtail.
  1. Remove the wheelhousing. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (1).

  4. Remove the bolt (1) retaining the wheel speed sensor pigtail harness.

  6. Remove the bolt (1) and separate the brake hose.

  8. Remove the bolt (1) and the sensor clamp from the strut.

  10. Remove the sensor harness clamp (1).

  12. Remove the wheel speed sensor retaining bolt (1) and remove the wheel speed sensor (2) from the steering knuckle.
