Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the mass airflow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.

  3. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor screws.
  4. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor.
  5. Remove and discard the MAF/IAT sensor seal.
