Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the knock sensor (KS) electrical connector (1).
  2. Remove the KS electrical connector clip from the oil level indicator tube bracket.
  3. Remove the oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement (LE5) .

  4. Remove the KS bolt.
  5. Remove the KS.
