Installation Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  1. Slide the NEW EVAP canister down into the bracket.
  2. From under the fuel tank, install the Torx® bolt attaching the EVAP canister to bracket.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the fuel tank EVAP vapor line to EVAP canister quick connect fitting. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Connect the EVAP canister to EVAP canister vent solenoid valve line quick connect fitting. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
