Circuit/System Testing

WARNING: Refer to SIR Warning , if DTC B1325 is set in the SDM.
  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connectors at the appropriate module.
  2. Ignition OFF and scan tool disconnected, open and close the driver door, and wait 1 minute. Test for less than 5 ohms between the following ground circuit terminals and ground:
    • Terminal 4 (TDM)
    • Terminal 31 (SDM)
    • Terminal A6 (IPC)
    • Terminal 2 X1 (Radio U85)
    • Terminal A12 X1 (Radio U26)
    • Terminal 6 X1 (PPS)
    • Terminal 12 X1 (BCM)
    • Terminal 13 X2 (BCM)
    • Terminal E12 X4 (BCM)
    • Terminal 25 X1 (FTC)
    • Terminal 27 X1 (FTC)
    • If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
  3. Verify that a test lamp illuminates between the following B+ circuit terminals and ground:
    • Terminal 1 (SDM)
    • Terminal 2 (TDM)
    • Terminal B5 (IPC)
    • Terminal 1 X1 (PPS, Radio U85)
    • Terminal B1 X1 (Radio U26)
    • Terminal 24 X1 (FTC)
    • Terminal 26 X1 (FTC)
    • Terminal D12 X3 (BCM)
    • If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
  4. If all circuits test normal, replace the appropriate module.
