Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the HO2S 1.
  2. Ignition ON, test for 3.4-3.6 volts between the HO2S 1 input circuit terminal 3 and ground.
    • If less than the specified range, test the HO2S 1 input circuit for an open/high resistance or a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the PCM.
    • If greater than the specified range, test the HO2S 1 input circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the PCM.
  3. If all the circuits test normal, replace the HO2S 1.
