Theft Deterrent Module Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement .
  3. Remove ignition lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement
1 Theft Deterrent Module Assembly

Procedure

  1. Disconnect electrical connectors.
  2. Program theft deterrent control module after replacement. Refer to Control Module References
