Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Make sure that the polarity of the transmission floor shift control indicator LED (3) corresponds to the transmission floor shift control wiring harness (1).
    IMPORTANT: Push the transmission floor shift control indicator LED (3) into the transmission floor shift control indicator LED socket (2).
  1. Install the transmission floor shift control indicator LED (3) to the transmission floor shift control indicator LED socket (2).

    IMPORTANT: Rotate the transmission floor shift control indicator LED socket (1) clockwise to install.
    IMPORTANT: In order to maintain uniform illumination at the transmission floor shift control indicator, always replace both transmission floor shift control indicator LEDs.
  3. Install the transmission floor shift control indicator LED socket (1) to the transmission floor shift control housing (2).
  4. Install the trim plate panel. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement .
  5. Check the operation of the transmission floor shift illumination.
