Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: Listen for an audible click to confirm the headlamp switch to knee bolster assembly retaining clips (3) are correctly engaged.

Install the headlamp switch (1) to the knee bolster assembly (2).

Connect the headlamp switch electrical connector (1).

IMPORTANT: When installing the knee bolster assembly (1), care must be taken not to scratch the steering column cover (2). This can be achieved by slightly bending the knee bolster (1) to avoid contact with the steering column (2).

IMPORTANT: Listen for an audible click to confirm the knee bolster assembly to I/P retaining clips (3) are correctly engaged.

Install the knee bolster assembly (1).
Install the I/P Outer Trim Cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
Connect the battery ground cable to the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
