Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Saturn Outlook, 2010 GMC Acadia, 2010 Chevrolet Traverse, and 2010 Buick Enclave. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the liftgate window into the opening. Refer to Adhesive Installation of Endgate Stationary Windows .
  2. Install the rear spoiler. Refer to Rear Spoiler Replacement (Acadia, OUTLOOK) or Rear Spoiler Replacement (Enclave, Traverse) .
  3. Install the rear window wiper arm. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement (Enclave, Outlook ) or Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement (Acadia) or Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement (Traverse) .
  4. Connect the liftgate window defogger electrical connectors to the bus bar.
  5. Install the liftgate trim. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Traverse) or Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Acadia or OUTLOOK) or Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Enclave) .
  6. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  7. Close the liftgate.
