Installation Procedure

Install the ground strap (1) to the engine compartment.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the ground strap to engine block retaining bolt (2).
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
Install the ground strap to chassis retaining bolt (3).
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to xx N.m (xx lb ft).
Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
