Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF. Disconnect the harness connectors of the module that set the DTC.
  2. Ignition OFF, test less than 3 Ω between the ground circuits and ground.
    • If greater than specified range, test the ground circuits for an open/high resistance.
  3. Ignition ON, verify a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuits and ground.
    • If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the appropriate B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
  4. If all the circuits test normal, replace the appropriate control module.
