Radio Scan Tool Data Parameters

Parameter Operating Conditions Expected Value Definition

Antenna - Main set -
Bass - Standard The scan tool displays the current bass setting.
Battery Voltage - 12 Volts This displays volts. This is the voltage input supplied to the digital radio receiver.
CD Status - OK -
CD Status - Valid The scan tool displays Valid or Invalid

CD Type - CD -
CD Changer Disc Number - 1-6 This is the status of the CD changer.
Chime Mode - On The scan tool displays On or OFF.

Dial Type - Valid The scan tool displays Valid or Invalid.

Equalizer - On The scan tool displays On or OFF.

Internal Communication - OK -
Mute Mute button pressed On The scan tool displays if the audio unit mute button has been activated or deactivated.

Power Mode - Run The scan tool displays Off, Accessory, Run or Crank Request. This is the state of the ignition switch.
