Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the intake manifold tuning valve O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the intake manifold tuning valve.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the intake manifold tuning valve bolts and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in.
  4. Position the power steering pump reservoir bracket and install the bolts and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  5. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the intake manifold tuning valve.
  6. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement .
