Installation Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution
  1. Install and connect the fuel fill pipe hose assembly.
  2. Tighten the fuel fill pipe hose clamp (1) at the fuel tank and tighten to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
  3. Connect the EVAP canister vent solenoid tube quick connect fitting (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  4. Install the fuel fill pipe bolt to the underbody and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Install the fuel fill pipe bolt to the fuel fill pocket and tighten to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).
