Removal Procedure

    WARNING: Refer to Sensing and Diagnostic Module Voltage after Ignition is Turned Off Warning .
    WARNING: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the connector (1) from the front air bag sensor (3).
  3. On hatchback vehicles, remove the headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Notchback) .
  4. Remove the front air bag sensor mounting bolt (2).
  5. Remove the front air bag sensor.
