Installation Procedure

  1. Install the side impact module (2).
  2. Install the side impact module fasteners (1).
  3. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the side impact module.

  4. Install the front seat back cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement (Passenger Side) or Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement (Driver Side) .
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
