Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the push-in retainers from the engine splash shield 3 retainers.
  4. Remove the engine splash shield from the lower flange of the engine compartment side rail.
