Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Shift Lock Solenoid Command parameter. The reading should change from LOCK to UNLOCK when the brake pedal is depressed.
  2. Press the brake pedal several times, the vehicle operator should be able to move the shifter lever out of the park position.
