Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Coupe) or Drive Belt Replacement (Convertible) .
  3. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector.
  4. Reposition the generator rubber boot (3).
  5. Remove the engine harness terminal nut (1).
  6. Remove the engine harness terminal (2).

  7. Remove the generator lower bolt and stud.

  8. Remove the generator upper bolt.
  9. Remove the generator.
