Brake Pedal Position Sensor Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Remove the left side instrument panel sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side . Remove the left side knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
1	Brake Pedal Position Sensor Bolt Tip: Calibrate the position sensor. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration . Do not reuse the position sensor or bolt. Always use a new sensor and bolt.
2	Brake Pedal Position Sensor Assembly NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tip: Disconnect the electrical connector. Tighten: 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

Brake Pedal Position Sensor Bolt
Tip:

Calibrate the position sensor. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration .
Do not reuse the position sensor or bolt. Always use a new sensor and bolt.

Brake Pedal Position Sensor Assembly

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tip: Disconnect the electrical connector.

Tighten: 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
