Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: Rotate the pigtail 90 degrees from vertical before securing the fastener.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the KS.
  2. Install the KS bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Connect the KS electrical connector (1).
  4. Install the oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator and Tube Replacement .
  5. Install the KS electrical connector clip to the oil level indicator tube bracket.
