Installation Procedure

  1. Install the O-ring seal (3) to the VSS (2).
  2. Install the VSS (2) to the transmission.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the VSS bolt (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

  4. Connect the VSS electrical connector (2).
  5. Install the front floor closeout panel. Refer to Frame And Underbody .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
