Shift Cable Adjustment

Set the parking brake.
Remove the instrument panel cluster trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

Push the shifter 4th gear lock clip. Move the shifter slightly in order to center the lock clip.
Ensure that the transmission is in 4th gear.

Pull the shifter 4th gear lock clip to its original position.
Install the instrument panel cluster trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
