Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
    2. Fig 1: Catalytic Converter-To-Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Bolt

  2. Remove the catalytic converter to catalytic converter brace bracket bolt.

  3. Remove the catalytic converter to muffler nuts.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Remove the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement .

  6. Remove the catalytic converter seal (2) and converter.
