Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the brake pressure modulator assembly (3) to the bracket (5). Secure with 2 nuts (4).
Tighten: Tighten the brake modulator assembly nuts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
Remove the plugs from brake pipes and connect the brake pipes to the brake modulator assembly (3).
Tighten: Tighten the brake pipe fittings nuts to 13.5 N.m (10 lb ft).
Connect the EBCM electrical connector (2).
Bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding in Hydraulic Brakes.
Using the scan tool, perform the System Configuration under the ABS Special Functions menu.
Perform Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
