Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Fuel Tank Hoses, Fittings & Clamps

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install and connect the fuel fill pipe hose assembly.
  2. Tighten the fuel fill pipe hose clamp (1) at the fuel tank.

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  3. Connect the EVAP canister vent solenoid tube quick connect fitting (2). Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
  4. Connect the vapor recirculation line quick connect fitting (3). Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .

  5. Install the fuel fill pipe bolt to the underbody.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Lower the vehicle.

  7. Install the fuel fill pipe bolt to the fuel fill pocket.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).
