Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
  2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  3. Raise the door window to the full up position.
  4. Remove the inside handle rod from the lock rod guide block (1).
  5. Remove the front door lock. Refer to Lock Replacement - Front Door .
  6. Remove the lock and rods through the opening in the inner door panel.
  7. Remove the inside handle rod (4) from the lock by rotate the rod.
