Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the front seat belt retractor (2) to the vehicle. Secure the retractor with the bolt (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the front seat belt retractor mounting bolt to 42.5 N.m (31 lb ft).

  3. Install the intermediate seat belt guide (1) to the vehicle. Secure the guide with the screws (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the intermediate seat belt guide screws to 2.1 N.m (18.5 lb in).

  5. Install the front seat belt upper guide (2) to the vehicle. Secure the guide with the bolt (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the front seat belt upper guide bolt to 42.5 N.m (31 lb ft).

  6. Install the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Center Pillar in Interior Trim.
  7. Install the quarter panel trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter in Interior Trim.
  8. Install the door sill trim plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement in Interior Trim.
  9. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear in Seats.

  11. Install the front seat belt lower anchor bolt (2) and seat belt spacer (4).

    Tighten:  Tighten the front seat belt lower anchor bolt to 42.5 N.m (31 lb ft).

  12. Install the front seat belt lower anchor bolt trim cover (3).
