Installation Procedure

  1. Position the rear muffler assembly to the vehicle.
  2. Install the rear muffler assembly to the support hangers (2).
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the front muffler to rear muffler flange nuts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the front muffler to rear muffler flange bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Lower the vehicle.
    CAUTION: Refer to Exhaust Service Caution in Cautions and Notices.
    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

    Connect the negative battery cable.
