Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left kneebolster panel. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the center HVAC duct.

  3. Disconnect the stop lamp electrical connector (1) from the stop lamp switch (5).
  4. Disconnect the brake transmission shift interlock electrical connector (4) from the stop lamp switch (5).
  5. Remove the stop lamp switch (5) from the brake pedal bracket.
