Installation Procedure

  1. Install the multifunction switch housing (2) to the steering column (1).
  2. Connect the electrical connectors to the multifunction switches.
  3. Install the SIR coil (3). Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Replacement in SIR.
  4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
