Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector.
  2. Remove the CMP sensor bolt.
  3. Remove the CMP sensor.
  4. Inspect the sensor O-ring for wear, cracks, or leakage if the sensor is not being replaced.
