Removal Procedure

  1. Loosen the air duct clamp at the throttle body.
  2. Remove the duct from the throttle body.
  3. Remove the powertrain control module (PCM) cover (3).
  4. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor connector.
  5. Remove the air intake resonator and duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Intake Duct Replacement .
  6. Remove the PCM.
  7. Remove the 3 screws securing the air cleaner assembly to the vehicle and remove the assembly.
