Installation Procedure

  1. Position the sensor to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
  3. Install the outside air temperature sensor to the radiator air baffle.
  4. Position the hood latch closeout panel to the vehicle.

  6. Install the push-in retainers (1) to the hood latch closeout panel.

  8. Close the hood.
  9. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 32 km/h (20 mph) for approximately one and a half minutes or at a speed of 72 km/h (45 mph) for approximately one minute in order to obtain the outside air update.
