Removal Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Tape Corners of Panel Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Apply tape to panel and adjacent surfaces.
  2. Remove the hood. Refer to Hood Replacement .
  3. Remove the hood hinge. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement .
  4. Remove the front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement .
  5. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper in Bumpers.
  6. Remove the front bumper fascia upper support. Refer to Fascia Support Replacement - Front Bumper Upper in Bumpers.
  7. Remove the washer solvent container if replacing the right front fender. Refer to Washer Solvent Container Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
  8. Remove the front fender bolt (2) from inside the front wheel well.
  9. Remove the front fender bolt (1) from inside the front door hinge pillar.

  11. Remove the rocker molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rocker Panel in Exterior Trim.

  13. Remove the bolts from the fender at the rocker panel.
  14. Remove the bolt from the fender at the front compartment side rail.

  16. Remove the bolt from the fender at the lower engine compartment side rail.

  18. Remove the front fender from the vehicle.
