Installation Procedure

Install the yaw rate sensor (2) to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the 2 bolts (1) that retain the yaw rate sensor.
Tighten: Tighten the 2 yaw rate sensor bolts to 21 N.m (15 lb ft).
Connect the yaw rate sensor electrical connector.

Install the upper yaw rate sensor bracket (2) and the bolt (1).
Tighten: Tighten the upper yaw rate sensor bolt to 21 N.m (15 lb ft).
Install the LH front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket in Seats.
Using the scan tool, perform the yaw rate sensor zero point calibration under the special functions menu.
