Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Deceleration Sensor And Bolts

Install the deceleration sensor (2) to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the two bolts (1) that retain the deceleration sensor.
Tighten: Tighten the two deceleration sensor bolts to 21 N.m (15 lb ft).
Connect the deceleration sensor electrical connector.

Install the upper deceleration sensor bracket (2) and the bolt (1).
Tighten: Tighten the upper deceleration sensor bolt to 21 N.m (15 lb ft).
Install the LH front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket in Seats.
