Scan Tool Data Definitions
The SIR scan tool data definitions contain a brief description of all SIR related parameters available on the scan tool. The parameters that are available on the scan tool are listed below in alphabetical order.
- Air Bag Deployment Commanded

The scan tool displays whether the SDM has deployed any modules.
- Battery State

The scan tool displays the current status of the system voltage measured by the SDM at its ignition feed.
- Battery Voltage

The scan tool displays 0-20 volts. The Battery voltage represents the system voltage measured by the SDM at its ignition feed.
- BCM Poll

The scan tool displays whether the SDM is receiving a request from the BCM for the status of deployment and malfunction data.
- Check Light

The scan tool displays the status of the indicator during the first 5 seconds after the ignition is turned On.
