Key Identification and Usage

The vehicle has 2 different types of keys for the 2 different types of lock cylinders.

The instrument panel (I/P) compartment key has the cuts on the edges of the metal portion of the key.

The key and transmitter assembly has cuts on the sides of the metal key component.

Use the key and transmitter assembly in the ignition lock cylinder and in the door lock cylinder.

The key and transmitter assembly has 4 components:

• The metal key
• The transmitter
• 2 screws

The 2 screws retain the transmitter to the head of the metal key.

The metal key has 10 cut positions with 10 different depths.
