Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front door speaker assembly into position in the door.

  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
    IMPORTANT: The tightening sequence MUST be followed.
  3. Install the front door speaker assembly retaining screws in the following sequence:
    1. The uppermost screw
    2. The lowermost screw
    3. The remaining screws in a criss -cross pattern

      Tighten:  Tighten the front door speaker assembly retaining screws in sequence to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical/audio connector to the front door speaker assembly.
  6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door in Doors.
