Installation Procedure

  1. Clean all parts in clean, denatured alcohol.
  2. Dry with low pressure, non-lubricated, filtered air.
  3. Inspect the brake caliper bracket for cracks. If cracked, replace bracket.
  4. Lubricate the brake caliper pin bolt sleeves with high temperature silicone lubricant.
  5. Install the brake caliper bracket. Refer to Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement - Rear (RPO J5, JL9) .
  6. Install the brake pad retainers (11) to the bracket caliper bracket (12).
  7. Install the brake pads (9, 10) to the bracket caliper bracket (12).
  8. Install the brake caliper (15) to the brake caliper bracket (12). Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement - Rear (RPO J65, JL9) .
