Removal Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Perform the radio set up procedure for new radios. Refer to Radio Setup .
  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the I/P center compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) - Center in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

  3. Remove the HVAC control assembly. Refer to HVAC Control Assembly Replacement in HVAC Systems-Manual.
  4. Remove the radio screws.
  5. Pull the radio toward you.
  6. Disconnect the I/P wiring harness connectors and the antenna cable connector from the radio.

  8. Remove the radio.
