Installation Procedure

  1. Install the battery tray.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the battery tray bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the battery tray bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

    3. Fig 1: Battery Tray Bolts

  3. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
