Fuel Sender Access Panel: Removal

- Open the rear compartment lid. Remove the rear compartment convenience net. The type of retainers used for sill plate are the push on, screw off type. It is very important to follow this procedure or wasteful destruction of the screws will happen. Remove the convenience net retainers retaining the rear compartment sill plate to the vehicle. See Figure.
- Lift the rear compartment sill plate to disengage the clips from the sill. Remove the rear compartment sill plate from the vehicle. Remove the spare tire. Remove the convenience net retainers retaining the rear compartment trim panel to the floor. See Figure.
- Remove the rear compartment trim panel. Remove the push in retainer retaining the right-side rear compartment trim panel to the vehicle. See Figure. Remove the right-side rear compartment trim panel from the vehicle. Remove the fuel sender access panel bolts. See Figure. Remove the fuel sender access panel.
