Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Chevrolet Corvette. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Clean any dirt or debris from the washer sealing area.
  2. Install the washer on the sensor.
  3. Insert the sensor in the wheel hole.
  4. Install the sensor nut.

    Tighten 

    • For domestic vehicles tighten the sensor nut to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
    • For export vehicles tighten the sensor nut to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
  5. Install the tire on the wheel. Refer to TIRE MOUNTING AND DISMOUNTING in Tires and Wheels.
  6. Install the tire/wheel assembly on the vehicle. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in Tires and Wheels.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
